HubSpot Interest Foundation

Know who to focus on. Know what happens next.

Give your team a shared view of each buying journey: what someone is considering, where it stands, and who owns the next step. We map your current process, agree the future state with your team, and implement it in HubSpot.

One person. Two buying journeys.

A Contact holds the person and relationship history. A connected journey record holds the offering, stage, evidence, owner and next action. Alex can be evaluating advisory while training remains exploratory, with each journey visible. This example is illustrative, not client data.

Assess. Agree. Build. Put it into use.

Assess

Trace one current buying journey, including unclear records, ownership and handoffs.

Agree

Define stages, advancement evidence, exceptions, next actions and when a Deal is appropriate.

Build

Choose native Leads or a custom Interest object, then configure the agreed native workflows, views, reports and bounded import. Test real scenarios together.

Use

Train the team, establish daily and weekly routines, and hand over the documented setup. A prioritized roadmap can identify later work; implementation of that wider roadmap is separate.

Fit and fixed-scope boundaries.

A defined Foundation Build for teams with existing interest to follow up and people willing to agree and use a shared process. Includes one portal, one shared process and up to three offerings with the same stages and rules, plus agreed configuration, bounded import, testing, training and handover.

Software licenses and third-party fees are excluded. Separate processes, full migrations, major cleanup, extra integrations and wider roadmap implementation require their own scope. We check your HubSpot subscription and workflow/report entitlements before agreeing the work; a custom Interest object requires the appropriate Enterprise subscription. This does not generate new leads or guarantee revenue.

Before we agree the work.

When does a buying journey need a Deal?

A journey record keeps interest and follow-up visible while someone considers an offering. A Deal tracks the qualified commercial opportunity when your agreed criteria are met. We define that handoff with your team and keep the records connected, without duplicating the commercial record.

Will we use native Leads or a custom Interest object?

We check that before an agreement. Native Leads may be sufficient for your process. If a custom Interest object is the right fit, we verify the required Enterprise subscription and your workflow and reporting entitlements before agreeing the build. The name of the offer doesn't commit you to an unnecessary object.

Will this bring in new leads or guarantee revenue?

No. This engagement helps your team understand and act on the interest you already have. It does not include new lead generation or a revenue guarantee.
